Claude E. Beal, 88, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Mr. Beal was a WWII Army Veteran and he retired after 42 years from ICRR. He is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Elizabeth Irene Beal; his parents: Dewey P. and Beatrice Laura Beal; one step-daughter, Linda Brown and sister, Dorothy Hendrix. Claude leaves his wife, Wanda Beal; one daughter, Carol Lambert of Hernando, two sons: Keith A. Beal of Memphis and Phillip Beal (Teresa) of Senatobia, MS; step-daughter, Paula Hill of Corinth, MS, Donna Joy, Linda Jackson; four step-sons: Jim, David, Paul and Mike Holtkamp; two sisters: Leona Martin and Beatrice Avent; two grandchildren: Kayela and Keaton; also two great-grandchildren: Caden and McKinley. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials are sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, LeBonheur Children''s Hospital or charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
