Holly Springs - Clyde Green, 94, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home. He was a retired welder and a member of Hometown Pentecostal Church. Mr. Green loved his family, loved to play dominoes and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Birdie Green and his daughter, Stella Shannon. Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Green; daughter, Cora Byard of Holly Springs, MS; stepdaughters, Linda Underwood of Russellville, AR and Polly Goodwin of Havana, AR; sons, Benny Green of Memphis, TN and Billy Green of Horn Lake, MS; stepsons, Charles Carpenter and Robin Carpenter, both of Havana, AR; sisters, Christine and Rachel and stepsisters, Lola May and Martha; 26 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, with services to follow at 2 p.m., at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
