Colie Edward Chandler, age 86, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Foxbridge Assisted Living Home. He was born in Jackson, TN on September 2, 1927, the son of Edward Chandler and Lorena Smith Chandler. He grew up in Jackson, TN and graduated from Lambuth College. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a mechanical engineer at Dover Elevator until his retirement. He also operated his own public accounting firm. He was a member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church.

Colie is survived by his former spouse, Cecilia Chandler; their daughter, Karen Chandler Johnson and son, Colie Edward Chandler, Jr.; by four grandchildren, Christina Lipscomb Thompson, Timothy Wayne Lipscomb, Justin Chandler Johnson and Caitlin Ann Johnson; and by two great grandchildren, John Thompson and Samantha Thompson.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
