Cora L. White, 71, of Memphis passed away Saturday April 11, 2015 from complications due to pneumonia. She was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, and was known and loved for her faith and loving spirit. She was a career mother and homemaker with artistic talent in crafts. She is survived by two sons: Tonis of Greenville, TX and James of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren: Samantha, Tonis, and Carl; one great grandson, Gavin Connor; and the mother, Martha L. Carpenter of Memphis, TN. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm with visitation before beginning at 1:00 pm, and interment to follow; all at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Road.
