Corinne Brandon Richey went peacefully to be with our Lord on June 22, 2021, at home with her daughters by her side. She was born September 5, 1926, in New Harmony, MS, to Walton H and Lucy Potter Brandon, the fourth of four daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John F Richey; her sisters and their husbands, Vivian McCraw (Woodrow), Evelyn McCord (A C McCord), and Sarah Brandon; a nephew, Donald McCord; and a niece, Bettye Richardson. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Thornton (Lee), Bartlett, TN, and Beverly Palmer, Peachtree City, GA; her grandchildren, John Palmer, Liza Schleicher (Brandon), and Leah Allen (David); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Holden Allen, and Oliver Schleicher; nephew, Gary McCord; and nieces Loraine Joyner, Louise McCord (Don's wife), and Nancy Waller (Joe), all from the Atlanta area; Lynne Flake, Munford, TN; and adopted niece, Mary Lyn Robinson, Atlanta. Visitation will be July 3, at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM, both at Ellendale Baptist Church, Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
