Coy V. Crumpton, 96, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2017. She was born November 5, 1920 in New Albany, MS to the late William Dewey and Faye Pannell Thomas. Mrs. Crumpton was a Baptist. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Crumpton was preceded in death by her husband, Thadgel "Sam" Crumpton and son, Thadgel Crumpton, Jr. She is survived by her son, and daughter in law, James and Myrna Crumpton; daughter, Ruth Ann Crumpton Fiveash; brothers, Jerry Thomas, John Thomas; four sisters, Doris Dillingham, Maxine Tippit, Marie Noah, Louise Thomas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m .until service begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
