Southaven - Curtis D. Boyd, 101, died peacefully at his home Wednesday morning, February 5, 2014. He was born September 28, 1912, in Gideon, Missouri and retired from the University of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Boyd; and a son, Earl Hill. Mr. Boyd leaves two children, Ronnie Boyd of Southaven, MS and a daughter, Adona Massey also of Southaven, MS; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Southaven, MS. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to Broadway Baptist Church.
