Cynthia Jean Bizzle Wiggins, 64 of Houma, LA (formerly of Senatobia and
Hernando, MS) went to be with the Lord Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home
surrounded by family. "Cindy", the beloved wife of Thomas E. (Buddy) Wiggins of
Houma, LA, also is survived by two sons and daughter in law, Thomas J. Wiggins &
his wife (Dr. Ellie) of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Marshall Connor Wiggins of
Louisville, KY. She is also survived by two sisters, Rhonda Kay Kimberlin (Jim) of
Hernando, MS and Laurie Ann Poppenheimer (Glen) of Nesbit, MS, two nieces,
Christen P. Emerson (Adam), Kendall K. Jenkins (Chris), and two nephews, Neal
Poppenheimer (Shanna), Clayton Kimberlin (Leah) all of Hernando, MS. As well as
a host of great nephews and great nieces that really loved their Aunt "Cinney."
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Earl and Doris Jean James Bizzle
of Looxahoma, MS. Cindy, a graduate of Memphis Prep School, attended
Mississippi State University. Many will know her as an accomplished Interior
Designer serving several homes of the Mid-South. She was the Mom of the
neighborhood, cooking and taking care of kids who came to visit, treating
everyone as one of her own. In retirement she was a volunteer for veterans and
active in her community. She had dedicated her life to the Lord, her children, and
family. Cindy loved traveling with her husband, classic movies, and her dogs
Bingley and Cocoa. She was a Leader, a Guide, a Teacher, and a Saint. She listened
to anyone who needed to talk. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
Forest Hill East on Whitten Road in Memphis will have charge. The family will be
accepting guests on Wednesday, May 26 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with funeral service
to follow on Thursday, May 27 at 10:00 am officiated by Bro. Cary Smith of North
Shore Church in Montgomery, TX. Following the service, burial will be at Forest
Hill Mid-town, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd.
The family requests any memorials be sent to: Monetary gifts in loving memory
of Cindy Wiggins can be sent to North Shore Church to be used as a donation to
