Dan Wilkes Bailey, 70, passed away March 12, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Turner, father, EJ Bailey and brother, Dorsey Bailey. Dan is survived by his son, Dr. Zachary Bailey, (Dr. Courtney Bailey), and their 3 children: Jack, Brooks, and Ava Jane Bailey as well as beloved aunt, Carolyn Abercrombie. He is survived also by his step-mother, Carolyn Bailey, sister, Tammy Clayton, and brother, Philip Bailey.

A 1970 graduate of Wooddale High School, Dan held life long friendships with many of his classmates and enjoyed helping to organize class reunions for many years. An accomplished pole vaulter in high school, Dan went on to letter at the University of Tennessee-Martin before transferring to the University of Memphis.

With a big, outgoing personality, Dan excelled for many years as a salesman of manufacturing materials making numerous friends throughout the country. Later, Dan enjoyed working as a limo driver chauffeuring many clients and celebrities around the Memphis area where he was affectionately known as "Limo Dan." He would go on to found his own business, Bailey's Windows and Doors.

Dan enjoyed painting, motorcycle riding, Maverick reruns, and was an excellent cook of traditional southern fare. He was a devoted father and grandfather and a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Service will be held at Forest Hill East in Memphis, TN on March 20, 2023 at 10am with visitation starting at 9am.
