Daniel Frost, 88, of Holly Springs, MS passed away Tuesday morning (August 24th).  He was born in Moscow, TN October 7, 1932.

Daniel had several professions  in his lifetime.  In his younger years he was a Fireman for Chicago Northwestern Railroad. In his later years he worked as a projectionist for Malco Theatre's/Summer Drive-In.  People  frequently asked  why he was still working. His response was always,  "I want to stay active. If you stop and sit down you might not get back up!" He worked at the Drive-In until he was 86 y.o (2018).

To know Daniel was to love him.  He loved people and he was always willing to lend a hand for his friends, family, and even strangers. Daniel is survived by his daughter,  Debra Like (Jimmy), 4 Grandchildren, Jim Like, Tanner Like, Rodney Like,  of Paragould, AR.  Rebecca Like-Williams (Alex) of Conway, AR, and one Great Grand-Daughter, Ainslee.  He is also survived by 3 sisters, Bertha Holland of Jackson, TN, Margaret Fuller (Joe) of Olive Branch, MS,  Charlotte Sillyman (Tony) of Cordova, TN, 2 brother's,  Robert Frost (Brenda) of Forest City, AR, Bobby Frost of Memphis, TN, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Father Kinnie Frost, Mother Gladys Frost Smith, son Danny Frost, Sister Mary Bumpas, Brother George Frost, Grand-son Jacob Frost, and Grand-daughter Ashley Mattingly.

Funeral  Services will be Tuesday August 31st, at Oak Forest Church  7700 Getwell Rd, Southaven, MS.  Viewing will be from 12:00 pm til 1:00 pm with service to follow.  At the conclusion, Graveside service will be held at Forest Hill South Cemetery, 2545 E. Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN.
