DANIEL JAY MARTIN, 26, of Memphis, TN, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in a tragic auto accident. Joining Daniel at Heaven's gates was his unborn child, Amelia "Mia" Grace Martin. Daniel was the son of the late RB "Sonny" Martin, Jr. He is survived by his wife of four months, Susanna Beth Martin; daughter Haven Leigh Martin; mother and step-father, Sherry and Carl Hawkins; brothers, Johnny, Richard and Christopher Martin; grandmother Verda Wallace and nieces and nephews. Daniel was a soft-spoken and kind-hearted father and husband. Handsome inside and out, he loved deeply and worked hard to provide for his family. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with services to follow at 2 p.m. all at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Daniel's memory for his final expenses and Susanna's ongoing medical care to any Suntrust Bank in the name of Susanna Tipton Martin.
