Danny Curtis Cole, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully March 21, 2025, at the age of 70, after a short battle with cancer. Known for his sense of humor and love of friends and family, he will be deeply missed.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Cole, Laura Alexander Marable, brother Stevie Cole and grandson Eli Cole. He is survived by his wife, Rita Cole and children: Shelby Cole of Collierville TN, Jason Cole (Karen) of Richmond TX, Amber Suddath (Justin) of McKenzie TN. He was a devoted Papa D to four grandchildren, Owen Cole, Bailee Cole, Kenlee & Cooper Suddath. He is also survived by a brother Phil Callahan (Betty) of Corinth MS, two sisters, Tammy Irby (Danny) of Leland MS and Melinda Etheridge of Brandon MS and many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Born in Pascagoula MS July 17, 1954, he currently lived in Eads TN. He worked alongside his mother in their family-owned restaurant, The Shanti Steak House, for 30 plus years. Most recently he enjoyed working at the beautiful Spring Creek Ranch golf course, where his wife also works.
Danny enjoyed having a good time and laughing with friends and family.  He loved watching sports, especially his Broncos & Ole Miss. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, fantasy football, strumming on his guitar and listening to many genres of music.
