Obituary

Danny Gray, 71, passed on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett. He is survived by his three children: Tonya Kuhl, Lisa Gray and Tony Gray, and his four grandchildren: Anthony Gray Sr., Dedrick Gray, Nicole Gray and Ashley Gray.
Danny was a native Memphian and lived to see the city that he helped develop grow into a thriving metropolis.
During his prime, Danny was in commercial and residential real estate. He had the privilege of being the project manager for the Wolfchase Galleria Mall and developed the residential neighborhoods of Morning Woods and Davies Plantation. Later, Danny was an ADA ramp coordinator for the city of Memphis. He helped the city become compliant with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act.
Danny grew up in Ellendale and spent summers with his beloved "Aunt" Elizabeth rearing and training quarter horses. He passed that passion down to his daughter, Tonya.
Danny was an exceptionally intelligent man and enjoyed heated debates about politics and finances. He will be missed. I love you, Dad.

The family will receive friends at a visitation service to be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park - East, 2440 Whitten Road.
