Darla Jean Turners love for life didn't come to an end with her death. Darla passed away on May
31,2021 at the age of 78. Surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living
their lives to the fullest! Just as she did!

Darla was such a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
She was born to JD and Wylodine Smith on October 1, 1942
Darla graduated from Southside High School she married her high school sweetheart Jack Fortune.
Together they had 2 beautiful children Greg and Allison.

They had a beautiful long marriage until Jack passed away. Later, she met and married another high
school friend Ray Turner. They lived happily until his passing.
Darla was an amazing cook. She loved arts and crafts. She also loved to travel to the beach. She loved
spending time with family and friends. She loved to laugh, joke, play cards and games. Her Dogs Abby
and Lilly were spoiled rotten!

Darla was such a free spirit. She was true to her beliefs. She was honest in every way. She loved her lord
and savior.

Darla is survived by her children Greg and Allison; Sister Nancy Holley; grandchildren Jarrett, Taylor, Jack
Tanner, Meagan, Brittney, Kyle, and Ashleigh.

Darla would not want us to be sad with her passing. She would want us to rejoice that she is with the
Lord our savior!
