Obituary

Darthy V. Cox 1922-2021, affectionally known as "Dot" and "GanGan".
The Lord called her home in a peaceful manner at Clarendale Memory
Care, with her family by her side, on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in her 98 th
year.

She had a long-standing relationship with God and was a tremendous
prayer warrior. In her last two days of life she heard scripture/stories
throughout the Bible with descriptions of her Heavenly home awaiting
her for comfort as she was drawing her last breath.

She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Mary; her brothers
James, Faye and MD; her sister Hershey Lee; her husband Felix and her
daughter Joan.

She is survived by her son Ronald: her grandchildren Michelle, Tanya,
Harrison and Emily; her great-grandchildren Mickayla, Ethan, Ava,
Olivia, Jaxson and Cooper; and her great-great grandchildren Kara,
Damien and William.

She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

GanGan will be forever remembered for her quick wittedness, her
beautiful smile with her family visits and her tremendous faith in God.
Although our hearts are heavy, we celebrate her life and find comfort in
knowing she is looking down from Heaven on us.

The family would also like to thank all the staff at Clarendale Memory
Care and Caris Hospice, you treasured her as family, and it
demonstrated through the comfort and care you provided for her.

In lieu of flowers, we set up a fund for donations to be contributed, as
all knew church was her life, we feel it is fitting to make these
donations to a church on her behalf. This fundraiser through Facebook
is listed as Darthy Cox Celebration of Life, located on Michelle C Fyke
home page.
