Little Dave Coleman, 84, of Rosemark, TN, passed away and went to be with his Jesus on February 22, 2024.

Dave was born on March 9, 1939 to LC and Frances Coleman in Payne, MS. After humble beginnings, he opened his family business, Dave's Armature Service, on Jackson Avenue in Memphis, TN, where he has served the tri-state area for over 41 years.

He will always be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling. Dave was well known for cooking the best fried catfish which could not be matched. He loved cooking pear preserves and enjoyed giving them to family and friends. He always talked about people asking him "is Little really your name?" and when he affectionately called his wife "Honey". He was a beloved husband, father, Pawpaw/Pap-paw/Pooh Bear, brother, uncle and friend. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all those who loved him.He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, LC and Frances Coleman of Payne, MS, sisters, Dorothy Coleman Dunagan and Mary Coleman Costilou both of Grenada, MS, brothers Rev.Donald Coleman of North Port, AL, Larry Dean Coleman of Thaxton, MS, and Gary Wayne Coleman of Century, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pauline Lindley Coleman; they married in 1960 and would have celebrated 64 years together in March; sons Chris (Edie) Coleman of Atoka, TN, Randy (Diane) Coleman of Oakland, TN, grandchildren Mandy (Dave) O'Neal of Marietta, GA, Tyler Coleman of Southaven, MS, Chandler Coleman of Arlington, TN, Will (Amber) Sanders of Atoka, TN, great-grandchildren Robby Sanders, Skyler Coleman, Luke O'Neal and Jacob Sanders, and brother LC Coleman Jr. of Holcomb, MS.

Services will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park - East located at 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN. Visitation is Monday, February 26th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, and service is Tuesday, February 27t at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
