David Michael Cariota, 73, of Walnut, Mississippi passed away on May 27, 2024.

David was a true Marine, always a fighter. He loved his family and friends. One of the last things he said was "Your Mom and Timmy are waiting for me".

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Gus and Minnie Bell Cariota; his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis C. Cariota; one grandchild, Timothy J. Parham; one sister, Rose Marie Grasky; two brothers, Joe Cariota and Henry Cariota.

David is survived by his daughter, Angela Cariota of Walnut, Mississippi; one brother, Bill Cariota of Georgia; and two grandchildren, Jessica C. Parham of Colorado and Andrew M. Parham of Mississippi.

David will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
