David Mohon was born on August 15, 1973 in Memphis, Tennessee. He passed peacefully at Baptist East Memorial Hospital on November 15, 2024. David always loved the freedom of the open road. He spent the last couple decades of his life as an over-the-road truck driver, then working for himself as he ran his very own Pilot Car Escort company. He loved to see all the new places and was even known to take his family so they could share the same experience, including his beloved pup "jewel bug." He met many friends through that line of work that he held close to his heart. Friendship meant a lot to David. If he said he had your back he meant it; Any time or day, no matter how they met. Whether it be friends, family or his children - as long as he was able he'd do whatever they needed to help. He is preceded in death by his adopted mother Brenda Linsman of Bartlett, TN and birth father David Allen of West Memphis, AR.  He leaves behind a wife (Tonya Mohon), one daughter (Brittany King), two sons (Alex and Calib Mohon), one step child (Rebecca Klenk) and one step-grandchild (Melanie Bratton). David was a one of a kind man and will be very deeply and sorely missed. There will be a Celebration of Life to attend in Bartlett. Please contact the family for more details.
