David L. Twomey, 70, formerly of Memphis passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at his home in Hondo, Texas. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Twomey is a retired Air Traffic Controller. He is the son of the late Joe and Marie Twomey. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Ruby Twomey; two children, Angela O''Connor of Charlotte, NC and David Twomey, Jr. of Johnson City, TN; one sister, Sharon Watson of Knoxville, TN and brother, Steve Twomey of Horn Lake, MS; also 4 grandchildren: Tyler, John, Devyn and Rylie. The family requests memorials be send to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
