Southaven - Debbie L. Sims Howell, 55, loving wife, mother, daughter and "Muffy", died Saturday, November 2, 2013. She was an Administrative Assistant for the Desoto County Schools, a member of Trinity Baptist Church and an Eastern Star. Mrs. Howell is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, David Howell; daughters, Carolyn Marie Howell, Melissa Howell Adams (Brandon) and Amanda Howell Pounders all of Southaven, MS; her parents, Eddie and Carolyn Sims of Memphis, TN and grandchildren, Mason and Dylan Adams and Lyla Cate Pounders. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery. The family requests any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association .
