Deborah Jane Norris, age 70, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on May 17, 2026. She was born in Sardis, Mississippi, to the late Charlie Eugene Gray and Lula Mae Gray (Bright).
Deborah was one of six siblings. She shared her life with her sisters, Frances, Sherry, and Vicky, and her brothers, Charlie “Bubba” Michael Gray and Ricky Glenn Gray.Deborah had a deep love for her family and found joy in thrift shopping and music. She was a gifted musician who wrote her own songs and played the piano. Deborah generously shared her talent with anyone who wished to listen, performing both original pieces and cover songs.
While her musical passion was strong, her greatest love was for her two sons, Andy and Randy, whom she cherished deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Vicky Lynn Thompson and Sherry Mae Holder; and other beloved family members. Deborah was a fighter who courageously faced and overcame battles with cancer. She was strong, devoted, and deeply loving—a dedicated mother, sister, and partner whose care for family and friends was truly unwavering.
She leaves behind her spouse, Ron Norris of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Frances Riley (Paul Leslie) of Hernando, Mississippi; her brothers-in-law and extended family; and her two sons, Andy Hudson (Julie) of Sardis, Mississippi, and Randy Hudson of Sardis, Mississippi. Deborah is also survived by her grandchildren, Justine Hudson and Whitney Bratcher; her nephew, Charlie McKay Gray of Cordova, Tennessee; her brothers, Charlie “Bubba” Gray (Diana) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Ricky Glenn Gray (Teri) of Batesville, Mississippi; as well as several nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Deborah will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the beautiful music she shared, along with the lasting memories she created with family and friends.
