Debra Jean Woodruff (G) was born December 1st, 1951 and passed October 30th, 2023 at age 71 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Milton Ozment, mother, Mary Sue Ozment, and brother, Lanny Ozment.

G worked for Carrier, where she was an analyst for almost 35 years before retiring. After retiring, she spent her time working on researching her ancestry, reading,  and studying the Bible and scripture. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing quilts, stuffed animals, and clothing for her family and friends. She also enjoyed caring for her pet cats, who would watch over and cuddle with her. G, like her mother, was an avid reader who would always be ready for a good game of Scrabble, winning almost every game. Although she was a homebody, she always jumped at the opportunity at traveling with family and relaxing in the shade. G was a gracious and giving person, who often helped those less fortunate than her and set an example on how to be generous, forgiving, and a Christian. She would like to be ultimately remembered as someone who loved her family deeply and who always tried to do the right thing.
