Obituary

Della Marie Omedeo Pasino, 89, beloved wife of Raymond Pasino, left this world on July 11, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Della shared 67 beautiful years with Ray. They worked side by side in their family grocery store for 28 years. Della was a loving soul that lived for her family. She was so proud of her grandchildren and was blessed to see them grown and leading happy successful lives. Her great grandchildren were the best medicine she could get and always cheered her up. Della was an avid U of Memphis basketball fan, attending games for many years. She was an amazing cook, loved to travel, play cards, bowl, play bocce and fish. She was a member of the Memphis Bocce Club and the Ladies Italian American Civic League. She enjoyed many bocce and bowling trips over the years. Left to cherish her memory was the light of her life, her husband Raymond, as well as children Barbara (Cliff) and Mike (Melissa), five grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren (plus one not here yet that she is keeping an extra special watch over). Della was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Rosa Omedeo and brothers Frank and Willie Omedeo. Donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church with rosary at 7:00. Funeral mass will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery on Elvis Presley Blvd.
