Dellita Williams Sherman, age 89, passed away on February 13, 2025.

Dellita was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Sherman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of almost 70 years, Donald E. Sherman, Sr.; one son, Donald (Natalie) Sherman, Jr.; one daughter, Deborah Pitman; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (C. Taylor) Smith and Sarah Sherman; two great grandchildren, Anne Douglass Smith and Mary Walker Smith; one sister, Katie Cunningham; and one brother, Harry Williams.

Dellita was a true believer and woman of God. Her faith and love showed in everything she did, especially putting up with Don Sr for 70 years. She dedicated her time in the church, playing the organ for 20 years and was a member of The Tennessee Fireman's Association for over 50 years. Dellita was a hardworker, and of the many things that she loved, she loved nothing more than her family and kids. Her kind spirit will greatly be missed.
