Deloris D. Clark, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 23, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 55 yrs John Wiley Clark, her son Jay Clark, daughter Dana Carroll, granddaughter Bree, great-granddaughters Laura, Skylar, Dalan and great-great-grandchildren. She built her life around serving others through her Lord Jesus at Crossway Church, but also through her family and close friends. She worked at Red Ball Motor Freight for 16 years, was also a Royal Rangers Commander and co-owner of Clark Rentals. She was the family's glue that held everyone and everything together. She made sure to be there for as many people as possible and never put herself before anyone. She was truly the definition of a Christian woman and she will be dearly missed and forever loved. Visitation will be Wednesday August 26, 2015, 12-2:00 p.m. with funeral service starting at 2:00 held at Forest Hill Funeral Home East location on Whitten Road. The internment will follow after the service.
