Dennis William Russell passed away at home into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from a brief battle with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. He was born on September 9, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Frank Laverne Russell and Mary Louise Russell.

Dennis loved his family beyond words. He enjoyed good meals and sharing elaborate stories and jokes over coffee with his treasured family and friends. Dennis was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed oldies music, hymns, gospel music and was very fond of the Gaither Vocal Band. He was co-owner of Russell Heating and Air Company for 30+ years. Dennis was an old car enthusiast who loved restoring, selling, and trading them. He was a member of and held leadership positions for multiple car clubs. Dennis found joy in attending car shows, cruise-ins, and Cruisin' The Coast with his beautiful wife and friends. He enjoyed NASCAR, watching wrestling on television, at the Mid-South Coliseum, and attending races at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years, Carol Jean Russell; daughter, DeeDee Ann (Mike) Brinkman; son, Joseph Anthony (Alyson) Russell; mother, Mary Louise Russell; sister, Deon (Kenny) Brown; mother-in-law, Varina Howell Rullet; grandchildren: Jake Brinkman, Gabe Russell, Lanie Russell, Shelby Russell, and Cooper Brinkman. He also leaves behind many cherished nephews, nieces, and friends.

Dennis was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts forever.
