Devon Nicholas Jones, 14, of Potts Camp, MS, born in Memphis, TN, on February 15, 2001, went to be with the Lord, on June 20, 2015. He attended Hickory Flatt Attendance Center and played basketball at the school. Devon gave his life to the Lord on February 17, 2013 and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, Mitch Jones; mother, Brooke Jones; two sisters, Destiny Jones and Kelsey Holley; grandmother, Pamela Benson; grandparents, Anthony & Janet Robinson; great grandparents, Beata Wallace, Lou Jackson, Charlie & Glenda Clifton; Aunts and Uncles, Amanda & Michael Clifton, Randy & Shelby Yewell, Anthony Robinson, Tera Baril, Jason & Jessica Gore, Becky & Wesley Lower, Crystal Johnson, Belinda Bridges; and cousins, Kyle Pryor, Gabby Yewell, Kendell Wayne Clifton, Ally Clifton, Cole Clifton, Chandler Clifton, Hannah Williams, Shanna Williams, Cason Walker, and Carley Jo Gore. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 26 and service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
