Dewey Lee Wharton, born October 14, 1929 in Corinth, MS, beloved father, passed away January 9, 2015. He was a veteran of the US Army and a faithful communicant of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Mr. Wharton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Paula Anetzberger Wharton. He leaves behind his daughter, Laura Lee Wharton of Memphis; son and daughter in law, Steve and Joan Wharton of Jackson, MS; and granddaughter, Katherine Marie Wharton of Denver, CO. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 3745 Kimball Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38111.
