Diane Carter Gordon peacefully transitioned from this life to life eternal on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 79 after a year long struggle with ALS.

Preceded in death by her parents, Frank & LaNell Carter, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Gordon, her daughter, Shannon Shackleford (Dennis, Grace & John), her son, Kevin Gordon (Liz, Joy, Caleb) and her brother, Frank Carter (Lynda, Day).

To honor Diane's memory, we are holding a celebration of life on Friday, May 13 at Central Church in Collierville at 1:00 pm. A visitation with the family will take place prior to the service at 12:00. Internment will take place at 3:00 pm at Forest Hill East. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life. She wished attendees to wear bright colors.
