Diane M. Wood, 70, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 15, 2013, after a long illness. She worked for National Mortgage Company for 25 years, and the American Cancer Society for 7 years before retiring and was a longtime member of Schoolfield United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wood is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, James S. Wood; two daughters, Yvette Rose, Kim Ketchersid (James); two step daughters, Cynthia Wester, Debra Seunarine; three sisters, Elaine Jones, Gail Lipford, Dale Mauldin; two grandchildren, Ashley Heltsley, Cory Ketchersid; four step-grandchildren, Joe Wester, Evan Kirby Wester, Cree Seunarine, Tate Seunarine; and a great granddaughter, Madison Henderson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 and service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 19 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. The family request any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
