DIMPLE HARNESS OWENS went home to be with her Lord on April 29, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, James Louis Owens and her parents, L.W. and Beatrice Harness. She leaves her sister, Jean Lannom (Bill); son, Andy Owens (Rhonda), and daughters, Sherry Vaughn and Debby Aulman (Jim). She leaves grandchildren, Melissa Jones, Jennifer Swinford (Larry), Cara Aulman (Kris), Wes Pickle (Tessa), Emily Garrison (Jordan), JD Owens (Stephanie), Niki Christian (Josh), Brandon Vickery and nine great-grandchildren. Dimple is well known in DeSoto County for her devotion to the Lord and for nearly 40 years of service as a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Horn Lake. She was a shining example of motherhood, friendship and God's grace to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace Dottie Dimple "Forever in Hallelujah Square". Viewing will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home South on Tuesday evening, May 1. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on May 2 at First Baptist Church in Horn Lake, MS.
