Dolores "Dodie" L. Craig, 92, was born June 23, 1925 in Memphis, TN to the late James and Ruth Franks. She went to be with the Lord on her 69th wedding anniversary, Thursday, June 29, 2017. Mrs. Craig was preceded in death 54 years ago by her husband, B.F. Craig, Jr. She was retired from the dental office of Dr. Michael J. Harty after 22 years and a faithful member of Union Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Craig is survived by her daughter and son in law, Catherine and Tim Gilland; son, Bert Craig; sister, Joan Taylor; four grandchildren, Daniel Craig, Christi Little (Stephan), Doug Gilland (Ashley), Allison Grubbs (Lee); and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. The family request donations be sent to the church.
