Don Grammer, 79, of Eads, TN, passed away on May 2, 2022.

His battles with serious medical conditions in recent years showed courage in facing life's challenges and his sheer will to live.  Despite the illnesses he stayed strong and fought for the life he loved until the end.

Don was born July 18, 1942 in Stanton, TN to James and Elizabeth Grammer.

Don will be especially remembered for being a hardworking gentleman, his love for his family and of course, his cooking.

Don was retired from the Memphis Fire Department and loved spending time with his wife Judy, his family, gardening and fishing. He was full of life and loved living it.  He will be missed by so many.

Don is survived by his wife, Judy Grammer; his daughter, Joni Hartsfield; his son, Wesley Grammer; stepdaughter, Carol Bridgewater; stepson, Brian Bridgewater (Janet Daniels); four grandchildren, Trent, Emily, Karlie, and Hayley; his brother, Billy Grammer; and sister, Peggy Hamilton.

He is preceded in death by his father, James; his mother, Elizabeth; four brothers, Milton, Gene, Rhea, and Ben; and two sisters, Anne Oliver and Liz Smith.

We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing the angels have finally got you back.  Goodbye to a wonderful man, doting husband, loving father and extra loving grandfather.
