Don E. Johnson, 83, passed away on December 20, 2017 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. He was a member of Getwell Church in Southaven and was a United States Army Veteran and was retired from the Teamsters'' Union. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his son Don E. "Dusty" Johnson ll as well as his parents, Harry Russell and Virginia Johnson, and one brother Harry Russell Johnson, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Billie M. Johnson and 2 children, daughter, Jessica Thomson (Rob) of Southaven, MS. And son, Dan Johnson (Stacie) of Beech Bluff, TN. He also leaves 2 sisters Peggy White (Glen) of Calhoun City, MS and Wanda Moore (Troy) of Columbus, MS. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren Cori and Daniel Johnson and their mother Lisa Johnson, and David Billings. Mr. Johnson also had one great grandchild, Conner Robinson. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Getwell Church on Getwell Road in Southaven, MS from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 pm with his service following at 12:00 p.m. Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, South 901-346-3250. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Hospital.
