Don Gene Stueart, 84, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis. Mr. Stueart was born May 23, 1929 in Dermott, AR. He graduated from Dermott High School then attended University of Arkansas in Monticello, AR where he received his accounting business degree and played on the football team. Mr. Stueart served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following the Army he served in the U.S. National Guard where he retired after 33 years. During his working career he was employed by: John Deer Farm Equipment Co. in Portland, AR, Ford Tractor Co. in Cleveland, MS and Darrell Harp Enterprise in Red Bay, AL. Mr. Stueart is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Raymond; Granddaughter, Bobbie Jo Flores and infant great-grandson, Hunter Scioneaux. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Tina Stueart; four daughters: Donna Stueart Jones (Sam) of Shreveport, LA, Sandra Stueart Arnn (Jim) and Kimberly Davis (Brad) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Linda Love (Lynn) of Port Royal, SC and one son in-law, John Raymond of Olive Branch, MS; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at St. Timothy Episcopal Church of Southaven with visitation starting at 12 noon. Entombment will be in Forest Hill South, Mausoleum.
