Don. E. York, 93, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 2, 2018. Mr. York was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He worked for Hardin's Sysco for 28.5 years, retiring in 1992. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara N. Fogerty York and son Robert Earl York. He is survived by his son Ron York, of Germantown, TN; daughter, Sue Christian, of Olive Branch, MS; four grandchildren, Jennifer McMinn, James York, Bailey Langford, and Jarrod York; six great grandchildren, Emily Langford, Caroline Langford, Marley McMinn, Harper McMinn, Dalton McMinn, and Clayton York. Mr. York was a member of Central Church in Southaven, MS.

Visitation is Monday, July 9 from 10-11  AM at Central Church ( 7100 Getwell Road, Southaven, MS 38672 ), with services immediately following at 11 AM. Burial services will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mr. York's honor to Central Church; P.O. Box 344, Southaven, MS 38671.
