Donald Ray Boyd, of Olive Branch, MS went home to be with the Lord on November 08, 2024. He was born on August 02,1932 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Donald was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them. He graduated from Whitehaven High school, class of 1951. After high school he went on to serve in the US Air Force in Korea from 1951 to1953. He met the love of his life, Betty Haynes, in 1951. Their love story began then and from there their courtship consisted of loving letters to each other, an engagement and married on August 14th,1954. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church from 1951 until his passing. He served faithfully for over 70 years at the church where he assisted with Sunday School, bus ministry, and was an usher from the age of 19 until he was 87. He worked at Nabisco for 40 years and retired from Adesa after 20 years. He was a Godly example to his wife, children and family.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Robert F. and Agnes Boyd; and his brothers, Clarence Boyd, Leonard Boyd, Harry Boyd, Melvin Boyd, and Robert Boyd.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 70 years, Betty H Boyd; two sons, Donald Stephen Boyd and Anthony Lewis Boyd; two grandchildren, Mindy Kay Baier (Michael Baier) and Kelli Renee Williford (John Williford); and five great grandchildren, Clara Williford, Tucker Baier, Lincoln Williford, Bonnie Williford, and Graham Williford.

Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
