Donald Wayne Carter, Jr., 65, of Marion, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Carter; two daughters, Brittney Trejo (Jose) and Margaret Kelleher (Glenn); eight sons: Clint Carter, Curtis Carter (Brandy), Chris Carter, Justin Carter, Joshua Carter, Kenneth Newman (Brenda), Timmy Newman (Karen), and Lance Elrod (Sam); four sisters:  Margie, Trish, Mary Jane, and Gail; twenty-four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and his mother, Betty Carter. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wayne, Sr. and a sister, Virginia. Donald loved fishing. Family and friends will gather to share memories from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, followed by services at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown  (901) 775-0310
