Donald Earl Howell, 66, passed away Saturday morning, October 12, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital after a short battle with cancer.  Don was born on February 15, 1953, in Memphis, TN and later moved to Pickwick, where he enjoyed being closer to the water and his children.  Don is survived by his children, Amanda Reeves (Allen) and Adam Howell, both of Corinth, MS.  His brother David Howell (Jane) and sister Jean Downs, and a host of nieces and nephews and several other family and friends, also his two most favorite people, his grandchildren, Taylor and Luke Reeves. Don was preceded in death by his parents Odos and Clois Howell and one sister, Pat LaRochelle. He was a graduate of Sheffield High School in Memphis.  Don worked on the road crew for the Charlie Daniels and Marshall Tucker Bands during his early years and then worked in construction and maintenance.  He was an avid football and Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. Visitation with his family will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, from 9:00~10:00 am with funeral service following at 10:00 am at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 901-382-1000
