Donald E. Mayer, II of Memphis, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Donna, his parents Donald and Maxine Mayer and sister Mary Rosenthal. He was born January 27, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy as a flight instructor. Donald is survived by his daughter Holly (Allen) Cox; grandchildren Amber Lenzo and Courtney Cox Rocheleau; brother Robert (Diane) Mayer, nieces Elaine Rosenthal and Kirsten (Eric) Brown; great nephew Eric Brown, Jr. and Liam Brown and great niece Lauren Brown. He was a lifelong friend to Richard and Anne Clark.
