Donald J. Muellenmeister, 89, passed away Saturday, February 06, 2016. Born in Fairbault, MN, Don moved to Memphis in 1945, where he met his wife, Pauline Ray, who preceded him in death. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and delved into other sports including scuba diving and motorcycling. Always seeking to broaden his knowledge, he would immerse himself in material to learn the newest technology, whether photography, ham radio, or computers, enjoying passing his knowledge and enthusiasm to his children and grandchildren. Don is survived by four sons, John(Patti) Muellenmeister; Donald Ray Muellenmeister; Ralph Muellenmeister; Paul (Bonnie) Muellenmeister; two daughters, Maria Fent (Don); Barbi Archibald(Tony); thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Muellenmeister. He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren. Don was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and a member of IBEW Local #474. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Funeral Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown.
