Donald (Don) Edward Pirtle, 66, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born in Memphis, TN on November 11, 1949, to the late Pauline and John Pirtle. Don graduated from Messick High School in 1967, attended college at Memphis State University and served in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. Several years later he married his high school sweetheart, Jelynn Richardson on March 24, 1973. Don is survived by three children; Kelley Nash, of Hernando, MS; Jamie McRae, of Olive Branch, MS; and Lori Green, of Olive Branch, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and his brother, Mike Pirtle of Olive Branch, MS. A one hour visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home - South located at 2545 E. Holmes Road in Memphis from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, July 25th with the funeral following immediately after the visitation at 7:00pm.
