Donna Rose Epstein Smith, 66, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her Atoka home. Mrs. Smith enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and going to the Bartlett Senior Center. However, much of her time was given to volunteerism at St. Francis Bartlett Hospital, Covington Baptist Hospital, and the Bartlett Library. She worked as a Data entry clerk over 20 years at Film Transit. Donna is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charlie Smith of AtokaÍ children, Shawn Slattery of MemphisÍ and Monica Harris (Jaime) of Wichita, KSÍ grandchildren, Haley Slattery and Kassidy Harris both of WichitaÍ and one brother, Larry Epstein (Jo) of Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Laura EpsteinÍ and her sister, Sheila Applebaum. Graveside services will be held Forest Hill East Cemetery on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
