Donna Lynn Mayer (nee Grimes) 77 of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 5, 2022.  Donna is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Dorothy (Gordon) Grimes.  She was born October 8, 1944, in Mississippi.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Donald E. Mayer II; stepdaughter Holly (Allen) Cox; sister Linda Shell, nieces Elaine Rosenthal and Kirsten (Eric) Brown; great nephew Eric Brown, Jr. and Liam Brown and great niece Lauren Brown; and step-grandchildren Amber Lenzo and Courtney Cox Rocheleau.  She was a dear friend for many many years to Richard and Anne Clark.
