Donna Saunders Rogers, 67, was born on January 27, 1950 in Vicksburg, MS, and passed away October 17, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto in Southaven, MS. She graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1967. She worked for 35 years in the medical industry as a doctor's assistant and office manager. She retired from Baptist Health in February of this year. Mrs. Rogers attended LaBelle Haven Church in Olive Branch. She loved animals, her grandkids, I Love Lucy, and Survivor. She was a very giving person who enjoyed spending time with her family during the holidays. Donna was a loving wife, mother, Memaw, sister, aunt, and friend. Mrs. Rogers was predeased by her parents Gerald and Mary Louise Saunders and by her daughter, Andrea Cothern. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jimmy Rogers; her children, Bud Gilbert and his wife, Lori, Chris Rogers and his wife, Jennifer, Heather Baker, Adam Rogers, and her son in law, Mike Cothern. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren,Cody and Caleb Gilbert; Morgan, Garrett, and Lacey Cothern; Brianna and Dalton Baker; Ethan, Eli, Emily, and Jessica Rogers and her two loving dogs, Maddie and Sissie, and Petie the parakeet. She was excited about the upcoming birth of her first great grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Services for Mrs. Rogers will be at LaBell Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS., Friday, October 20, 2017 visitation for friends and family begins at 10:30-12:00 with her service following at 12:00.
