Donna Tate Stanton, born July 4, 1939 in Memphis, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 17, 2018 at the age of 78. She was an active member of First Evangelical Church where she taught and served in the children's ministry for 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was very generous to many charities and missionaries. Mrs. Stanton was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh W. Stanton, Jr. She leaves behind two daughters, Pam Bruckman(Randy) and Cindy Stanton(William); four grandchildren: Jamie Hughes(Brian), Bailey Gurley(Dan), Sam Ebe, and Ben Fey; and three great-grandchildren: Elisha Hughes, Levi Hughes, and Nicolas Gurley; and brother, Ronald Tate(Joyce). We are grateful for the legacy she leaves behind. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 10-12 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Evangelical Church or a charity of your choice.
