Donny Joe Fry, age 66, of Millington, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home.  He was born on October 25, 1954 to the late Delbert Dewey and Betty (Ricks) Fry.

Donny was a member of Southern Cruisers Riding Club and was the owner and operator of Donny Joe's Bar and Grill, retiring in 2009.  Donny was a very loved man and never met a stranger.  He brought smiles to the faces of people from all walks of life.  Those who knew him would attest to his vibrant personality and ability to lighten the mood and make you feel wanted no matter the situation or who you were.  He will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Donny is preceded in death by two brothers, Butch and Stevie, as well as two nephews, Scott Smith and Tony Fry.

Donny is survived by his two sons, Donny Fry, Jr. and Jason Fry, sister Pam Smith, brother Mike Fry, grandchildren Dayton, Brayden, Lucas, Madison, Easton, and Izzy Fry.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park East.
