Donyell C. Buckingham, age 73, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Forest Hill South on Holmes Road. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 am.

The daughter of the late Grady and Bernice Warren, Donyell was born December 23, 1941 in Holly Springs, MS. She was a secretary at Southaven High School for 24 years. Donyell was a devoted member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ.

Donyell is survived by her husband David F. Buckingham of Olive Branch, her son and daughter-in-law Ty and Freda Buckingham of Sardis, daughter Kecia Coleman of Southaven, and son and daughter-in-law Sean and Lara Buckingham of Hernando. She leaves a brother and sister-in-law James and Gwen Warren of Southaven and brother and sister-in-law Melvin and Joyce Warren of Clearwater, FL. Her grandchildren are Joshua and Niki Buckingham of Southaven, Megan and Sean Tutor of Sardis, Keegan and Zane Coleman both of Southaven, and Dillon, Justin, and Addisan Buckingham of Hernando. She also leaves four great-grandchildren Hollie, Joshua, Natalie, and Brody Buckingham of Southaven. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude or the charity of your choice.
