Dora Oaks, 72, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2019.  The widow of Garvin Oaks, Sr., she is survived by son, Garvin Oaks, Jr.; daughter, Christine Yates; three grandchildren:  Andy Oaks, Nicole Raichart, Chris Oaks;  five great grandchildren:  Asher, Christain, Jessi, AJ, Kaitlyn; six sisters:  Betty (Robert), Scotty, Jo Ann, Dee (Ellis), Rose (Rickey) Polly (Donald); and two brothers:  Raymond (Linder), and Roger.  Dora was preceded in death by a grandson, Lane Yates.   Family and friends will gather to share memories from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.  Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park – Midtown.   (901) 775-0310
