Dora Theora Beville Young, age 80, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home on September 5, 2024 . Dora was born on March 20, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by her sons Larry Wayne Young, Wesley "Andy" Young Sr. (Allison), her grandchildren, Larry Wayne Young II. Wesley Young Jr., James Robert Young (Marlana), Kayce Allen (Jessie), MyKenzi Young, Robert Young, her brother John Beville, best friend Gloria Bradley, her dog Hazel , 7 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 8 nephews. Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Young, her parents, Wesley and Kathleen Beville, her brothers, Gene Beville, Robert Beville, her sisters, Myrtle Young, Mary Blakney, her brother-in-laws, Jim Young, Jerry Blakney, and sister-in-laws, Shirley Beville, and Brenda Beville. Dora worked for Block Drug company for over 25 years , she spent the rest of her life loving her family , her dog Hazel and working in her garden. All of her grandchildren called her Mamaw and it was music to her ears. Her favorite foods where from her garden , KFC and Memphis BBQ . On Sundays she liked to watch football and The Kansas City Chief's became one of her favorite teams. During the week she liked to watch the Price is Right, Classic Westerns and Elvis Presley was her favorite singer. Dora was a Christian, read her Bible daily, and was active in her local church community. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm , September 16, 2024, at the Forest Hill Funeral Home in Memphis, TN.
